News: MCS Lacrosse Win Vs. Barre

The Mater Christi School lacrosse team continued their successful season with a win last weekend in Barre. Luke H. and Carson M. led the team to victory, with six and three goals, respectively. News: Vermont STEM Awards for Mater Christi School

This year the Vermont STEM Fair (normally held in person at Norwich University) was conducted remotely. Our school sent several representatives including Jake Broe, Jack Bryan, Lily Collins, Andrew Greene, Anne LaMantia, Kate Larkin, Maggie Robinson, and Isaac Rubman. Congratulations to second grader Chelsea Anker, and sixth grader Raxa Tarijal, who both won first place awards in the 2021 Growing Works of Art Contest, an arts and writing contest for students in grades 1-8 that is hosted in partnership with UVM Extension and the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks, & Recreation. News: Accepting Applications for 2021-2022 Academic Year

This academic year has been very unique due to COVID-19 and all the challenges it has presented to teachers, staff, and students. This year for Catholic Schools’ Week, Mater Christi School decided to compete in a virtual Geography Bee challenge! MCS is no stranger to holding a National Geographic Geography Bee, as we have had one each of the last twenty-plus years.
