Music

In alignment with our commitment to the arts, Mater Christi has a robust music program. Music is another way to express joy, and it is a gift that we enjoy for a lifetime. Students are encouraged to find their path to expression in both their classroom experience and in enrichment opportunities.

Music is taught in a classroom setting from Preschool through Grade 8 and includes instruction in music notation, expression and history, and our youngest grades are taught on the Music Together® platform.

Mater Christi offers a Concert Band with winds and percussion for Grades 5 through 8.

Our Choir is available for middle school students and focuses on a diverse repertoire ranging from Gregorian Chant to current popular standards.
