May Crowning 2025
On Friday, May 2, 2025, we at Mater Christi School celebrated our annual May Crowning, a beloved Catholic tradition honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary. We began the day with a beautiful school-wide Mass, officiated by Father Michael Carter, S.S.E., of St. Michael’s Edmundite community. Our first graders, from Mrs. Carrie Macedonia’s and Miss Sarah Bassett’s classes, confidently led the opening parts of Mass — an important leadership opportunity that ... read more
MCS Eighth Graders Awarded in Hildene Lincoln Essay Contest

Fifth Graders Complete Integrated Arts Project

Working with Mrs. Baker in the Art Studio, they then designed a coloring page that featured the animal. This lesson in artistic purpose and composition helped them to create an image appropriate for the coloring book format. With Mrs. Duell, they then took the information about their animal and translated it into ... read more
