MCS Bulldogs Robotics Visit The State House

April 3, 2018

On Friday, March 30, 2018 the Mater Christi Bulldogs Robotics Team visited the State House to participate in the “First Day at Vermont”. During this event, all Vermont First League Teams were invited to the Statehouse where they were honored and recognized by the Governor and legislators. Schools from all over the state attended and shared their experiences and knowledge.

Our MCS Bulldogs Team proudly represented our school during this event and met with Governor Phil Scott. It was a great event that highlighted the students’  problem solving skills while demonstrating their abilities with their robots.

The MCS Robotics Team was one of the first in the Chittenden County Area. Young people are inspired to tinker, problem solve and open their minds to a whole new world in the robotics field. Coding, engineering and creating custom made parts in a 3D printer are some examples of our students’ skills and how much fun learning can be!
