The Mater Christi girls and boys cross country teams ran very well at the Harwood Invitational on Saturday. They didn’t have their full roster of runners but the boys finished 2nd and the girls 3rd against over a dozen schools from central Vermont. Malinn Sigler led the girls team with Malise Sigler, Ella Byers, Ava Rohrbaugh, and Myla Altadonna to all score on the hardest course in Vermont. Garrett Micciche led the boys team with a 5th place finish followed closely by Wyatt Sigler, Morgan Kenny, Mason Altadonna, and Jack Rutz who helped to score for the boys team.
Their biggest race of the season so far is tomorrow October 18 afternoon at the Chittenden County Championship Meet at Shelburne Museum where they hope to win it. We invite our students and families to support this incredible team!
