I grew up in New Jersey with my older brother and twin brother, and first came to Vermont as a UVM student. In college, I was a double major in English and Italian, and studied abroad in Ferrara, Italy for a semester, living with a host family and studying at the local university. I entered the education field a few years out of college, working as an Academic Coach at a college support program for neurodiverse students. I then returned to my studies, and recently graduated with a Master of Arts in English at UVM. In the program I researched how to make Shakespeare more accessible to grade school students. I also worked at the Graduate Writing Center, supporting graduate students in their writing. I live in Burlington and enjoy many hobbies including running, biking, soccer, gardening, cooking, art and writing. I first became acquainted with the MCS community as a Girls on the Run coach years ago and now help coach the Girls Soccer team.
