I grew up in southern Vermont in Bennington where I attended Sacred Heart Saint Francis de Sales school. I loved my Catholic school experience and I always knew that someday I would teach at a Catholic school to give back to the nurturing community that helped raise me. I then attended the University of Vermont where I received a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education in 2014. I then jumped right into a master program at Simmons University where I completed a graduate degree in Elementary Education but this time with a focus in Language and Literacy, an area where I feel the most passionate about.
I have been teaching Kindergarten for the last 8 years in public schools and 2023-2024 is my second year teaching Kindergarten at Mater Christi School. I live in Burlington with my husband who is originally from Ireland, we often travel there to visit his family!
