The Mater Christi School Athletics Department strives to provide opportunities for all students in grades 5-8, to extend their growth beyond the classroom by engaging in organized sports. Participation in athletics at Mater Christi reinforces the Catholic and Mercy values of our school by teaching sportsmanship, discipline, responsibility, and leadership. 

Our teams are competitive and open to all, offering student-athletes a chance to be courageous by trying a new sport or learning to be an effective leader in a sport they already know and love. For all our athletes, participating in sports at Mater Christi is an opportunity to have fun, practice teamwork, develop healthy habits, and play sports with their friends from school.
