Sarah Bassett

I originally am from Newton, Massachusetts, which is right outside the city of Boston. I
moved to Vermont for college and I love living here! I have been teaching and working with
young children in varying capacities for ten years, including in preschools, elementary
schools, and dance studios. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Vermont
with my degree and license in Early Childhood and Special Education, and I feel so lucky to
have landed at MCS! Outside of teaching, I have been a dancer since I was little and was
on one of the UVM dance companies. I also love to travel and explore the outdoors, doing
everything from hiking to camping to swimming and sailing. I am thrilled to be a part of the
Mater Christi community and to inspire students to be lifelong learners.
