St. Michael’s College recently welcomed over 30 Mater Christi seventh graders, eight Rice Memorial High School students, and 7 faculty members from the two schools. The occasion for the gathering was a day-long retreat for the 7th graders. The retreat experience included presentations by the RMHS students, Mass co-celebrated by Fathers Brian Cummings, SSE, and Michael Cronoghue, SSE, lunch in the St. Michael’s dining room hosted by St. Mike’s Campus Ministry office, and special activities led by the Mater Christi teachers.

The students particularly liked the mixture of activities led by their older peers and the opportunities for quiet time which were interspersed throughout the day.
