Mrs. Barb Heath, with her talented student musicians, delighted a packed auditorium with their music on December 15.  The concert began with the Mater Christi School drumline. Twenty drummers sent their cadences through the walls.

Following this performance were the Beginner Band, Saxophone Ensemble, Intermediate Band, Intro Jazz Band, Rock Band, Select Jazz Ensemble and, finally, the Advanced Band. These groups played both popular and classical Christmas carols from “Jingle Bells” to “Themes from The Nutcracker.” A special treat was the classic “Hungarian Pastorale Fantasy Mvt III by Franz Doppler soloed by Sara Fernandez-Young who played her flute.
