Happy Mercy Day! On this day, we celebrate both the beginning of Mercy and the ways in which the charism of Mercy continues to inspire people to live faithful lives of contemplation and action. In 1827, Catherine McAuley opened the first House of Mercy in Dublin, Ireland. Today, we celebrate that rich legacy as we still strive to be shining lamps of God's light for every person in need.
What a joy to welcome puppeteer Hobey Ford to MCS! His hand-carved puppets brought Animalia to life, with whales, birds, and butterflies soaring right over our heads. A wonderful way to celebrate science, the arts, and the beauty of God's creation! Thank you, Mrs. M.C. Baker, for all your hard work bringing such a spectacular opportunity to our students.

Message from our PTO THANK YOU to all of the students, parents, teachers, and kids who volunteered their time to make the carnival possible. From setting up, working games and activities, helping throughout the evening, and staying to tear everything down , we truly could not have done it without you! Events like this are a great reminder of what makes our school community so special. Whether you volunteered, attended, or helped behind the scenes, thank you for being part of it and supporting our PTO and our students. Twenty-five years on, we remember. Our thoughts and prayers are with all who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001, and with the first responders whose courage still inspires us. May they rest in God's peace.
