Sophie O’Neil

After School Program Director

 

I was born and raised in Richmond, VT and then attended UVM. I graduated in 2024 with my Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. I am now a night shift RN on UVMMC’s Specialty Surgery unit (Miller 3). I started working at MCS during my junior year of college, and have been directing the program since my senior year. I’ve grown up working in various childcare settings, and have always loved working with kids. Outside of the hospital and the MCS campus, I enjoy skiing, hiking, backpacking, as well as spending time with my parents and three younger siblings and trying to make the most of every season in Vermont, especially sugaring season!
