I am a lifelong Vermonter who spent my childhood climbing trees and chasing butterflies throughout the Green Mountains. I have spent my life immersed in artistic pursuits; from drawing cartoons on the floor of our new house as a child, to taking countless art classes in high school and college, to sharing my love of art and art history as an educator. I spent nearly 15 years creating family-friendly art-themed programming at Shelburne Museum before moving on to Davis Studio, where, for 9 years, I wore many hats, from Community School art teacher and Youth Program Director, to Communications Manager and IT Director. I love teaching art to kids and have taught students from Pre-K to high school. Many of my past students attend Mater Christi so I feel quite at home here. As an artist, I love to paint, draw, and create mixed media pieces. I enjoy deconstructing and then up-cycling, turning one person’s “junk”into a magical piece of art. I am a photographer and enjoy manipulating & distorting images in fun and unique ways. I am a LEGO enthusiast, massive Star Wars and Doctor Who fan, and I adore sharing my interests with my two amazing nieces. I’m currently working on accomplishing my goal of visiting all 50 states. Only two states to go!
