Nick Rabalais

2nd-5th Grade Latin Teacher

Growing up in Texas, my life was changed by great teachers I had in middle and high school, and I have wanted to dedicate my life to teaching ever since. I attended St. John’s College as an undergraduate, studying on both the Annapolis, MD and Santa Fe, NM campuses before graduating in 2025 and moving to Boston for a brief foray into philosophy graduate school. This year, I decided the wait had gone on long enough — it was time to teach! In the past I have worked with the Great Books Summer Program, bringing old ideas to young minds. I have also taught chess classes in after school and summer programs. I am always looking to share philosophical questions and great books, as a student and teacher, with anyone I meet. My class, work, and other pursuits are easily derailed by anyone who wants to talk Plato.
