I grew up in multiple states across the east coast and I was born in Burlington, Vermont. I attended the University of Vermont where I graduated with a degree in Secondary Education focusing on Social Studies. I’ve taught all grades 4 – 12 but ended up falling in love with teaching fourth and fifth graders at MCS. In my spare time, I enjoy learning and practicing American Sign Language, writing, reading books, and training my two parrots. I love being a learner right along my students, experiencing new ways to meet challenges and inspire my students to bring their best every day.
