Liz Hamilton

School Nurse

I moved to Vermont in 1996 to attend the University of Vermont and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology before realizing my true calling. In 2005 I graduated from UVM again, this
time with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. At that point, I decided that I had given UVM enough tuition money for one lifetime, and I have been a registered nurse ever since. I spent almost 15 years working in both the neonatal intensive care unit and the inpatient pediatric care unit at the UVM Medical Center. I decided to leave the hospital and become a school nurse when my children started school, but I can safely say that I bring parts of my many years in the hospital to school with me every day! In addition to my love for all things medical I enjoy running, skiing, green juices, spa treatments, and anything maple. I live in Williston with my husband Jason, our two children Clare and Charlie, and our dogs Lola and Figaro. I love being a part of the Mater Christi Community and take great pride in providing the students and faculty members with medical care.
