I am a native from Massachusetts. I’ve been teaching since I graduated with a BA in Elementary Education from Salem State College in 1991. I married my college sweetheart, David, in the fall of 1992, and moved to Vermont on Halloween of that year! We welcomed our son, Matthew, in the fall of 1995. Matthew is an alum of MCS and Rice H.S. Matthew, and his father, are both Eagle Scouts. Our daughter, Sarah, was welcomed into the world in the spring of 1998. Sarah is also an alum of MCS, and Rice H.S. I have a love of flamingos since I saw them at Busch Gardens on my first trip to Florida when I was 15.

Hobbies

• Scrapbooking, swimming, spending time with family and friends, baking, gardening, and exploring new places
