Kimberly Gravett

Middle School Math Specialist and 6th Grade Math Teacher

I grew up near Columbus, Ohio and attended Bowling Green State University in Northwestern Ohio. After, I moved to Indianapolis to teach at Riley Hospital for Children, which is where I met my husband who worked for the Trauma Center. I also taught for 8 years in Greenfield, Indiana where I taught a variety of combinations of 6th, 7th and 8th grade Math and Science courses. My family relocated to Vermont in 2016 for my husband to start an Integrative Primary Care Clinic. I began teaching at Sheldon School, where I taught Middle School Math for 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Most recently, I was teaching Math and STEM to 6th graders at Swanton Elementary. I have been working in Education for 17 years and have been tied to Mathematics in one way or another throughout my career. I have always been passionate about math, and I strive to make math learning fun and engaging for my students. I am new to Mater Christi, as are my two children, and we are incredibly excited to join this wonderful community.
