Kim Servin

7th & 8th Grade Math Teacher

I was born and raised in New York City, the middle of three siblings. I graduated from Williams College, where I met my husband John, and then went on to earn a Master’s degree from Columbia University Teachers College. I have been an educator for twenty-five years as a private tutor, K-8 math interventionist, and most recently as a 7th and 8th grade math teacher. I love to support students as they develop strategies for making sense of problems and a willingness to persevere through challenges and stuck points. I moved to Vermont with my husband and three children in 2009 and have absolutely loved it here!
