I grew up in the lovely town of Saratoga Springs, NY and attended high school there. I was recruited to play soccer at Siena College in Loudonville, NY. While attending Siena, I majored in Secondary Education with a concentration in History. After college, I married my husband, Jerad, and we traveled out west for his career as a pilot in the Air Force. My husband’s career brought us to Vermont in 2012 and we currently live in South Burlington with our family. I have taught 11th grade, 12th grade, 8th grade, and 6th grade primarily in the fields related to Social Studies and Literacy. I also spent three years teaching preschool here in VT. In 2012, I stepped away from the classroom when my first daughter was born. Since then, I have enjoyed my time at home raising my three children. I’m excited to be back in the classroom as a literacy specialist supporting the 4th and 5th grade intermediate team. I’m very thankful to be so graciously welcomed into the Mater Christi community.
