I am originally from East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, where I grew up the middle of three children. Attending the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, I met my future husband, John. After graduating from UMass, we lived in the Boston area for several years, and then moved to Southern California. Upon our migration back to Massachusetts, we settled in the Boston area, where I returned to school to earn my M.Ed at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. We settled in Ipswich, a seaside town north of Boston, and I began teaching in Salem and later Beverly.
When career opportunities brought us to Vermont, it was with mixed feelings. We knew we would miss living along the New England coast, and we were hesitant to move farther from family. Once we settled in, though, we felt right at home. Now, we can’t imagine living anywhere else. I happily reside with my husband, son, chocolate lab and two cats in Williston. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, cooking, golfing and traveling with my family.
