Alison Abry

Board Member

Alison Abry is the owner of Alison Abry Finance Consulting, PLC, where she works with growing businesses to improve accounting efficiencies and increase profitability.  Previously she was the Director of Finance & IS for Rhino Foods, where she managed the financial reporting and technology. Prior to Rhino Foods, Alison spent five years as the Chief Financial Officer at MyWebGrocer. At this Private Equity held technology company, she worked with the management team to rapidly grow the business and helped execute a successful merger with a technology holding company.

 She began her career in Public Accounting. As a partner in a local accounting firm for over 20 years, she specialized in medium-to-large businesses. Her client based spanned many industries including technology, manufacturing, healthcare, and services. She assisted clients with their tax and auditing requirements but preferred the consulting aspect of her practice. These consulting services focused on assisting clients with growth plans and general business planning.

Alison received her BS in accounting from the University of Vermont and is a Certified Public Accountant. She also serves on the Juckett Foundation Board and previously served on the board of Rice Memorial High School and the Cancer Patient Support Program.

Alison resides in Colchester with her husband John, and her son is a Mater Christi alumnus. Outside of work, Alison enjoys the outdoors, including skiing, biking and activities on Lake Champlain.
