Kimberly Gravett

Middle School Math Specialist and 6th Grade Math Teacher

I grew up near Columbus, Ohio and attended Bowling Green State University in Northwestern Ohio. After I graduated, I moved to Indianapolis to teach at Riley Hospital for Children, which is where I met my husband who worked for the Trauma Center. I also taught for 8 years in Greenfield, Indiana where I taught a variety of combinations of 7th and 8th grade Math and Science courses. My family relocated to Vermont in 2016 for my husband to start an Integrative Primary Care Clinic. I began teaching at Sheldon School, where I taught Middle School Math for 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Most recently, I was teaching Math and STEM to 6th graders at Swanton Elementary. I have been working in Education for 18 years and have been tied to Mathematics in one way or another throughout my career. I have always been passionate about math, and I strive to make math learning fun and engaging for my students. This is my second year at Mater Christi and am excited to continue to support our middle schoolers on their math journeys.
