Our girls finished 4th at the Chittenden County Cross County Championship race at the Shelburne Museum on 10/17/18. Seventeen schools competed. Although our girls team is small in number, we ran well against some very big schools. Izzy Lacy was 5th overall and the top fifth grader in the race. She was followed closely by Sego J, Ella Knudsen, Ella Byers, and Ava Rohrbaugh who all helped score in the very close race for the top 3. 
Matthew Servin ran a very smart race and paced himself on the first lap before taking off to lead the second lap and win by a 9 second margin. It was the fastest time by a Mater Christi student ever at this event.
The teams have their final meet on 10/28/18 at the Vermont State Cross County Championships at The Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe
