National Nursing Homes Week is May 14-20, and what has become a tradition, Mrs. Barb Heath and her Mater Christi School band rode out to the north end of Burlington to share their musical talents with  the residents of Birchwood Terrace Healthcare and Starr Farm Nursing Center. They spent most of Wednesday morning either performing for the residents or ,on their back to school, at Big Daddy’s where they enjoyed snacks, beverages and games.

The MCS drum line was a real treat for the adults at the Homes, and many of the folks there regularly look forward to this annual visit from the Mater Christi band.
