Celebrating the Mater Christi School Class of 2025: Commisioning & Graduation Ceremony

June 24, 2025

We proudly celebrated the Class of 2025 with a series of heartfelt and faith-filled graduation events that honored the character, accomplishments, and spirit of our students.

The celebration began with the Commissioning Ceremony on Tuesday, June 4, one of the most moving traditions at Mater Christi. During this ceremony, teachers offered personal reflections about each student, speaking to their personality, growth, and the many ways they enriched our community through their time at MCS.

This year, student awards were mailed to recipients and their families. These recognitions honor excellence in academics, the arts, leadership, citizenship, and the Mercy values that form the heart of a Mater Christi education.

We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2025. These awards highlight not only academic accomplishments but the Mercy-centered values that make our students leaders of faith, kindness, and purpose. As they move on to high school and beyond, we pray they continue to shine and serve as compassionate stewards in the world.

On Friday, June 6, we gathered for the Baccalaureate Mass, a beautiful celebration of gratitude and prayer for the Class of 2025. Following the Mass, families, faculty, and friends moved to the gymnasium for the official Graduation Ceremony, where students received their diplomas and were honored for their dedication and accomplishments.
