News: Vermont STEM Awards for Mater Christi School

April 22, 2021

This year the Vermont STEM Fair (normally held in person at Norwich University) was conducted remotely. Our school sent several representatives including Jake Broe, Jack Bryan, Lily Collins, Andrew Greene, Anne LaMantia, Kate Larkin, Maggie Robinson, and Isaac Rubman.

It comes as no surprise that several of our students were awarded prizes after having their projects reviewed remotely at this year’s fair. Maggie Robinson was awarded a Gold medal. Jake Broe and Kate Larkin were awarded Silver medals for their projects. Kate Larkin also won an award from the Society of Women Engineers, as well as an award called the Broadcom Masters Award. Anne LaMantia was also awarded two prizes, a Broadcom Masters Award, and an Award from the US Navy Office of Naval Research. Lily Collins also received this Award from the US Navy Office of Naval Research.

You can follow this link for a description and list of the Awards.

You can follow this link to see the actual student Projects on Mr. P’s Web Page.

Congratulations to all of our Student Scientists,
