This fall, Mater Christi School demonstrated growth in enrollment for the second year in a row. Last year, the school met its enrollment goal of 220 students and showed particular strength in early childhood grades. This year, school opened having already met its goal of 220 students, and now has 229 fully enrolled students. This year’s prekindergarten class is full, and grade 4 is also close to full, and will likely be split into two classes for the next academic year. Enrollment is carefully managed, and enrollment caps are set for each classroom.
Mater Christi School accepts students in all grades, although it has two primary points of entry at which many of its students matriculate, kindergarten and grade 6. A recent survey of new parents indicated that parents chose the school for the quality of the academic program and its values. In addition, it showed that 90% of new families hear about Mater Christi School through word of mouth. Just a reminder, parents can receive a $500 or $1,000 tuition credit for referring a new family.
