Mater Christi is fortunate enough to have nursing students serve as interns, working alongside Mater Christi School Nurse Mrs. Ellen Ammirato. Our fall intern wrote the following as an introduction:“My name is Libby Schwab and I am a senior in the nursing program at UVM. I come from the small town of Chagrin Falls, Ohio. I am currently an Advanced EMT and volunteer my time on UVM Rescue where I drive the ambulance, and I also work in the emergency department as an emergency department technician. Due to my work with the critical care fields, I am interested in ending up working in an ER or on a critical floor. Thank you so much for allowing me into your community for this time!
