Robotics: Bulldogs Robotics Club debuts 2017 FTC Competition Robot

January 16, 2017

Vermont FTC teams were invited to attend the inaugural scrimmage at Essex High School on Saturday, January 14.  Six members of the MCS Bulldog Robotics Club debuted their 2017 FTC competition robot at the scrimmage.  In addition to Bulldog Robotics, seven local high school teams were in attendance testing, developing and showing off their robots on the official competition field.  Bulldog Robotics club members made improvements to the robot based on how it performed on the field.  They also displayed Gracious Professionalism exchanging ideas and advice with colleagues from other teams at the event.

A dozen Bulldog Robotics Club members have been working hard on the 2017 competition robot during study hall, after school and over break.  Students will continue to design, build, and program the robot to compete in the Northeast Regional FTC Championship on February 11 at Essex High School.
