Ms. Kristin King and the K-8 Mater Christi School Drama Club presented Dear Edwina Junior on Friday, November 20. Dear Edwina Jr. is a musical, set in Paw Paw, Michigan, featuring a 13-year-old problem solver, Edwina Spoonapple, who is constantly giving advice to her family and friends. Through song and dance, Edwina directs the kids in her neighborhood in her weekly “Advice-A-Palooza” shows.
Ms. King was proud of the MCS Drama Club this year. “They did a fabulous job and even through some live technical difficulties.” Ms. King has the following special acknowledgements: “To the faculty and staff of MCS for their support and encouragement, Mr. Noel Boucher, Mrs. Carmen George for her invaluable time and creative energy, Acme Paint and Glass for donating supplies, to the parents for all their help and supporting their young thespians throughout this process, and to the cast and crew for their hard work and dedication.”
