MCS Volunteers Help Raise Over $10,000 at the Committee on Temporary Shelter (COTS) Phonathon

December 9, 2014

The Mater Christi School Community Service Committee formed a group of volunteers that was comprised of students, teachers, parents, alumni and friends who volunteered last evening at the Committee on Temporary Shelter (COTS). The goal for the evening was $5,000, but after four hours of “dialing for dollars” the group, along with other volunteers from the Burlington area, raised over $10,000 for the organization! COTS provides emergency shelter, services, and housing for people who are homeless or marginally housed in Vermont. For more information about COTS, visit them online at: http://cotsonline.org/.
