Session 1: June 27 – July 1 – Where the Wild Things Are

Let’s get out in nature! After being inside so much of the day during the school year, our explorers will be learning about gardening, growing their own plants in our camp/community garden, exploring the great outdoors, and getting to know our counselor staff.

Session 2: July 11 – July 15 – Looking for Champ

After a week off for Fourth of July Celebrations, we return to camp with a mission! Let’s look for signs of Champ and explore the wonders of Lake Champlain. Scavenger hunts and beach visits will be a part of the schedule as campers enjoy water games and excursions during our warm summer days.

Session 3: July 18 – 22 – Performing Arts

Pack your favorite song and practice for our in-camp talent show! Counselors and campers alike will perform their talent on our camp stage. We will have workshops from local thespian groups, and even a short one-act play produced by our talented campers and staff. Ready? Camera. Action!

Session 4: July 25 – 29 – World Cultures

During World Cultures week, we dive into learning about other communities. Each day we play games, listen to music, create traditional crafts, sample foods, and learn about the other countries and cultures that make up our diverse world. At the end of the week, camper groups get to design their very own fictional country.

Session 5: August 1 – August 5 – STEM Week

Calling all future scientists! Let’s experiment! Campers of Week Five: STEM Week will get to enjoy daily science experiments, both indoor and outside, to stimulate their scientific curiosity. While maintaining careful safety guidelines, let’s fire some rockets, grow our own crystals, and much, much more!

Session 6: August 8 – August 12 – Olympic Week

Let’s get our team spirit going! In Olympic week, campers join a team with a counselor and form an Olympic team from a fictional nation of their choosing. Each team competes against the others in various activities like fort building, sports events, trivia, and more! At the end of the week, the team with the highest number of points wins our coveted golden laurels.

Session 7: August 15 – 19 – The Great Outdoors

In our last week of camp, we want to enjoy our summer days to the fullest! As the beginning of school draws ever closer, we strive to get our campers up and out of the building even more. Let’s explore the natural beauty of VT and stretch our legs before packing away summer for another year. This week, campers will vote to give awards for their hard-working counselors who have worked tirelessly contributing to our summertime fun.
