Discovering personal greatness in pre-school through grade 8 students - Burlington, Vermont

Kristen Lee

Kristen was born and raised in South Burlington, VT, and graduated from UVM with a B.A in Child Psychology. After graduation, she moved to Manhattan for eight years and earned her M.S. in Elementary Education from CUNY-Hunter and became a licensed teacher in NYC. Her first teaching experience was at the Metropolitan Montessori School on the Upper West Side where she taught in a multiage classroom of first through third graders. Kristen eventually returned to Vermont to be closer to her family and raise her two children, Griffin and Sadie, who are now both in high school. Prior to joining MCS, Kristen had been teaching second grade for several years at the Renaissance School. Kristen is thrilled to be returning to Mater Christi School for her sixth year.

In her spare time, Kristen loves going on road trips with her family, reading, baking and dreaming about her next trip to the ocean.

What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal.
