Kayla Slide

Kayla Slide grew up in Londonderry, New Hampshire, where she attended public school and enjoyed visiting the mountains, beaches, and the city of Boston with friends. Growing up Kayla danced, played soccer, and was the treasurer of the Big Buddies program at her high school. She attended Endicott College where she was inducted into the national college senior honor society, Mortar Board and the international honor society in education, Kappa Delta Pi. In 2019, Kayla earned her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Secondary Education. After graduating, Kayla jumped into her first year of teaching 8th grade math in Peabody, MA, while also enrolled in the fifth year master’s program at Endicott College. In the whirlwind of 2020, Kayla’s Master’s in Special Education was conferred and she made the move to Vermont before accepting a full time position at Mater Christi! Kayla is excited to share her passion for math and adventure with her students at Mater Christi by connecting lessons daily to the real world.
