How to Apply

Welcome to Mater Christi School

We are so happy you would like to learn more about Mater Christi School. Mater Christi School has been a part of this community since the Sisters of Mercy opened a school at this location in 1886. More than a century later, Mater Christi continues the tradition of education as a private, Catholic school, sponsored by the Mercy Education of the Americas (MESA), and offers education from preschool through grade 8.

Mater Christi provides a values-based education, with high academic standards and a rigorous curriculum that offers robust math and science instruction along with French, Social Studies, Technology, Religion, and separate classes in English grammar and literature in the middle school.

The core values of the school are rooted in the Catholic faith, and transcend all religions. The six Core values are: Spiritual Growth and Development, Personal and Educational Excellence, Concern for Human Dignity, Global Vision and Responsibility, Compassion and Service, Collaboration.

Mater Christi School welcomes all faiths; currently 50% of the students come from diverse, non-Catholic backgrounds.
